knitting as fast as I can

I've been knitting as fast as I can because I was a crazy gal and joined two mystery stole KAL's. What the heck was I thinking!!!!!! Oh well. So I thought I would share some pictures of there progress.

The fist picture is of the secret of the stole clue one. I am using Chocolate brown cashmere and the beads are a tortoise color with teal blue centers. I really like the way this one is turning out. And It is knitting up very quickly.

Clue one finished

Secret of Chrysopolis
Now this poor stole is going to take me an eternity to complete. I call the chart a bleeding eye chart because after you look at it for a while you think your eye's are going to start to bleed. I love the way it is turning out and it will be beautiful when it is finished. It's just going to take me a while to acturally get it done. this picture is of the first 16 rows of clue one and we are into week 2 and will be getting week 3 clue this friday. So I better get my but in gear and knit faster.

Your Secret of the Stole looks fantastic! Yummy, Cashmere. The other one looks great too. Did I miss the name? Is it the Secret of Chrysopolis? It is beautiful.

Your stoles look beautiful. And yes, I hear you on the Chrysopolis stole. I'm about 3/4 of a clue behind. It's beautiful but incredibly intricate and the clues are huge!!

SotS will likely remain a clue behind as well.

No pics on my blog yet.

Hi,

I also joined the same two Stole KALs as you did, only I joined the Secret of Chrysopolis at the end of clue 1.

I completely agree with you on the SoC and how challenging it is to the eyes... though I truly love how beautiful it's turning out!! I am hopefully trying to complete clue 1 before the end of this week, and start on clue 2 as I hold on to clue 3.

I also discovered that the border is the most difficult, but once you move from row 35 when the pattern just comes alive!!

Keep at it, and keep up all the beautiful work!

Your stoles are looking just gorgeous!!!!! I love the yarn and beads you chose for SotS. I agree, it is a joy to knit, but SOC is really going to be beautiful. I love both.
