Ok, So here are what I have for options and I tell you this is a tough decision. I have them numbered from left to right.
1. ( first one starting on the left side) Honestly I like this bead color probably the best but the only problem is that it is Just to big. So this one is out.
SO NOW THE HARD PART BEGINS BECAUSE I LIKE THEM ALL
2. is a very clear almost ocean blue like color.very beautiful here's a closer picture
3. is a verigated lot of beads. here is a better picture of them
4, is so close to color #2 that I could actually mix them together and you would never know.
5. is more in the greens, take a closer look
these do have a touch of gold brushed on the outside of the beads. This is actually from a kit and I just dumped everything in so I wouldn't have to take the time to sort them out. I'll do that latter so that's why there is all the other parts.
and last but not least
6. the tortoise beads
So what do you all think. here is another picture of them all.
I would love to hear what you have to say so please leave a comment.

Okay, this is a tuffie. I really like #2 particularly if you are looking for a contrast. But the amber beads are beautiful as well, if you are wanting something to blend. Guess that isn't much help, but atleast it is just two to choose from. :)
hmm, since we dont know what SOTC is going to look like, I would go with the tortoise. But I agree that #2 is absolutely beautiful and strikes a wonderful contrast.
I think the tortoise beads do look great on the brown yarn so they'd be my second choice - but I love #3 - they would make a great contrast! They appear to be more matte than shiny - what are your intentions for the stole and how much of a sheen does the yarn have, after blocking/washing your swatch. Have you tried swatching with the beads?
I like the shine of #2 and #6; the blue jumps out a little more; the tortoise is more subtle--- so hard to chose!
JoanK, I have a small swatch done and there is a little bit of sheen to it. This stole is for me and I really don't exactly know in what manner I will be using it after its done. I guess that is the hard part about a mystery. You just don't know. I am right now torn between bead #2 and #6. those are my two favorites but bead #3 does have a nice matte finished and is not shinny and would be more casual than dressy, this is why it is so hard to make a decision.
My favorites are #3, #5 and #6.
Hi Pam,
So hard to choose as they're all lovely but very different in "flavor". I'm getting the feel from our noble leader that this stole is meant to be natural and subdued so I like the tortise. But...lol...number 3 is so pretty in it's contrast! I've waffled through an entire cup of coffee so will take a deep breath for you and say first #6 then #3. Hope that helps!
Vykky, Drink another cup for me please. The kids are getting out of school early. UUUGGHHH. That means less knitting time.
I still don't know what to think but #6 is very nice and just may be the one. But I have more time to decide.
thanks for your opinions
My faves are #3, #6, and #2 (in that order).
It'll be beautiful no matter which you choose.
